On Thursday night in the Premier League, we see 4th-placed Manchester United take on 6th-placed Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both sides will be looking to get the three points to push them one step closer to Champions League qualification.
Earlier this season the two sides met at Old Trafford. On that occasion, Manchester United came out on top with a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Fred and Fernandes.
Manchester United’s form
Manchester United are currently sitting fourth in the Premier League table and will be looking to return to playing Champions League football next season.
On Sunday, Manchester United were victorious in the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton, after beating them on penalties and in their last three Premier League matches, Manchester United have won all three against Brentford, Everton and Nottingham Forest.
Tottenham's form
In Tottenham’s most recent Premier League game at the weekend, they were annihilated by Newcastle United 6-1 at St. James Park.
This result saw Cristian Stellini sacked as interim manager and Ryan Mason took over the role until the end of the season. Stellini is the first-ever interim manager to be sacked.
Tottenham are hoping for Champions League football next season but have only managed to get one win out of their last five games.
These results have put a huge dent in their Champions League hopes as they are now six points behind fourth position so tonight is pretty much a must-win game for them.

Marcus Rashford is likely to return to Premier League football after starting against Brighton in the FA cup semi final after his spell on the sidelines. The Red Devils could be without Bruno Fernandes, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Alejandro Garnacho and Scott Mctominay, who are all doubts for tonight’s game against Tottenham.
Tottenham could be without their goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris against United after he came off injured at the weekend. They could also be without Emerson Royal, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissoma and Ryan Sessegnon who are all doubts for tonight’s match.
