2020/21 NATIONS LEAGUE PREVIEW, PREDICTIONS & BETTING TIPS
NATIONS LEAGUE ACCA

The 2020/21 Nations League gets underway this week which starts a year long tussle for points in UEFA’s newest international tournament.
The competition now into its second stint since it started back in 2018, sees some of Europe’s big hitters face each other in a tiered group format which means that us fans get to enjoy some mouth watering fixtures from the outset.
With places at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar up for grabs, there are potentially rich rewards on offer for the countries that enjoy success in the Nations League which means that every fixture will be keenly contested.
Ahead of the start of the tournament, we’ve taken a look at some of the favourites for glory as well as a couple of outsiders that we like the look of also that we feel are worth keeping an eye on.
NATIONS LEAGUE OUTRIGHT TIPS
FRANCE
Odds: 7/2 (favourites)
Key Player: Kylian Mbappe
One To Watch: Eduardo Camavinga
Over recent times France have had and still have one of the deepest squads of talent to choose from and they also have some high quality youngsters coming through with the likes of RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano, Rennes Eduardo Camavinga and also Lyon’s Houssem Aouar, France have a trio of Europe’s most sought after young players and that added to the quality that they already have with the likes of Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe and Anthony Martial, the favourites for the Nations League have a potent blend of exciting youth and experience.
Having sailed through their Euro Championship qualification campaign last year by winning eight out of their 10 matches en-route to topping Group H ahead of Turkey and Iceland, France should again prove difficult to stop.
BELGIUM
Odds: 6/1
Key Player: Kevin De Bruyne
One To Watch: Jérémy Doku
Belgium have been installed as the joint third favourites for the 2020/21 Nations League and with the likes of players such as Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard who can argue with the bookies? In our opinion the only issue we have is Roberto Martinez is finding it difficult to replace ageing players in defence and midfield. They did however have a perfect winning record in the European Championships qualification last year although they were in a weak section with some poor opponents.

FOOTYBETS4U PICK: ENGLAND
Odds: 11/2
Player To Watch: Harry Kane
One To Watch: Mason Greenwood
After England’s incredible journey to the World Cup Semi Final in 2018, they maintained their momentum by topping Nations League A Group 4 in front of Spain and their World Cup conquerors Croatia later the same year.
The good thing for England is at the moment, they are a free scoring side who scored a mouth watering 37 goals in eight group matches during their fantastic qualifying campaign with Spurs’s Harry Kane and Man City’s Raheem Sterling proving a productive duo for the Three Lions!
With the confidence at a high after a couple of tournament near misses and the addition of fantastic youngsters such as Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden to their already talented senior ranks, could this be finally the tournament where England achieve their first piece of silverware under Southgate?
The only issue we here at FootyBets4U have is, does Southgate know his best squad?

11/2
England to win the Nations League
