Thursday night, in the Europa League, we see Manchester United take on Sevilla in the 1st leg of the quarter-finals, at Old Trafford. The English side will be looking to take the lead into the second leg which will be played at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium a week today.

Previously we have seen these two teams face each other in the 2020/21 semi-finals of the Europa League. On this occasion, Sevilla advanced to the final after beating Manchester United 2-1 where they went on to beat Inter Milan to lift the trophy.

Sevilla are currently sitting 13th in La Liga and after underperforming this season domestically they will be hoping to win the Europa League again this season to give them the chance to play Champions League football next season. In the previous round of the Europa League, Sevilla was victorious over Turkish side Fenerbahce by an aggregate scoreline of 2-1.
