On Easter Sunday, two Premier League teams battle for survival looking to maintain their place in the 2023/2024 Premier League season. We see Leeds United looking for back-to-back home wins after picking up a valuable 2-1 against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night. We also see Crystal Palace’s first away match under the new reign of Roy Hodgson, hoping to build on their 2-1 victory over Leicester City last time out.
Head to head
In the previous three Premier League meetings between the two sides, both sides have been victorious once. The third ended in a goalless draw at Selhurst Park.
Key players missing
Leeds United have been unfortunate in the injury department this season. This could significantly impact where they finish in the league.
Leeds are currently missing Stuart Dallas due to a broken leg, which occurred back in April 2022 against Manchester City. Another big name on the treatment table is Tyler Adams, who signed in July 2022 from RB Leipzig. Maximilian Wober is also missing and has hardly featured since joining Leeds in January from RB Salzburg. Tyler Adams has become a vital player for Leeds this season. His absence has been huge for Leeds United and will continue to be whilst he remains on the sidelines.
Last weekend Crystal Palace suffered a massive injury blow, which saw Wilfred Zaha go down with a groin injury. Crystal Palace fans were hoping taking him off was precautionary. Since, we have learned that Zaha will miss key games against Leeds United, Southampton, Everton and could miss the game against Wolves on the 25th of April.
The absence of Zaha against the sides down the wrong end of the table with Palace could be a catastrophe. Roy Hodgson will hope players like Eze and Michael Olise show their talent and help drag Palace to safety.

Previous games
Crystal Palace and Leeds United will be looking to make it back-to-back wins on Sunday to take them three points closer to safety.
In Crystal Palace’s previous game against Leicester City, we saw Roy Hodgson bring on Mateta in the 86th minute. In added time, he made it 2-1 to the Eagles, which might prove to be a masterstroke from Hodgson and which could be a crucial three points come to the end of the season.
In Leeds United’s previous match, they took on relegation rivals Nottingham Forest, where we saw Leeds win despite going 1-0 down in the first 15 minutes. In the first half, Leeds made a comeback and went into the half-time break 2-1 up. In the second half, Leeds United defended for their lives to hang on for a much-needed three points.
