DIFFERENT BETS EXPLAINED
SINGLE
The easiest and most simple type of bet to understand. Just make a single selection, stake your money on it, and if it wins then so do you.
DOUBLE
Just make two selections, for example, you might fancy Norwich and Liverpool to both win their matches. You make this selection, stake your money and if both win, so do you.
TREBLE
Much the same as a double, but you are just making one more selection (3 instead of 2), this obviously creates an increased risk of losing your stake, but if all three selections win then so do you.
OUR FAVOURITE TYPE OF BET
ACCUMULATOR (ACCA)
This is possibly the most popular way of placing football bets, especially on a Saturday at 3pm. Usually called an ‘acca’ this bet is made up of a minimum of 4 selections. As you add more selections the riskier it becomes, but also offers a higher potential return. This type of bet creates an opportunity for a big win from a small stake.
TRIXIE
This type of bet is made up of 4 bets around 3 choices. The bet covers the three doubles and the treble. For example, if you chose 3 teams to win, at least 2 would need to win for you to get a return.
PATENT
Much similar to a trixie, but also covering the single bets. Meaning you only need 1 of your selections to win for a return. Although, realistically you would more than likely need 2 winners to see a profit.
