CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BETTING
Who will win the Champions League in 2021? Is it time for Pep and Manchester City, can Barcelona rediscover themselves or will Bayern Munich retain it.
ARE BAYERN STRONG ENOUGH TO FEND OFF ALL CHALLENGERS FOR THEIR CROWN?
Bayern Munich were crowned the 2019/20 Champions League winners and in doing so they won every single match they played in the competition, no draws and no losses, that is some going!
Prolific 32 year old striker Robert Lewandowski, also took the golden boot after netting 15 times. This means they are installed as immediate favourites to win and retain the title with their free-flowing attacking football sending shivers down many spines.
Liverpool may have something to say about that though, after winning the competition in 2019, they had a very disappointing campaign last season and were dumped out by Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid with a ruthless display at Anfield, but after securing their first Premier League title in 30 years they will be well up for the challenge.
Manchester City are surely going to win or come close at leats to a Champions League title with Pep Guardiola, it’s a trophy he has going chased with them and with the quality of the squad and the financial backing they have to be a teak with potential to go all the way.
Also, keep an eye on Chelsea, they’ve added some real quality with Leipzig striker Timo Werner and former Ajax playmaker and winger Hakim Ziyech along with full back Ben Chillwell already joining and with rumours of Thiago Silva about to sign (as of 27th August) they could be serious contenders for some silver ware this year.
There are also many teams we haven’t mentioned such as Juventus, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and this years finalists PSG, all who have as good a chance as anybody, these teams alone will make this years Champions League a very exciting tournament.
