On Wednesday night in the Champions League, we see two Italian giants and rivals battle it out for a spot in the Champions League final. AC Milan take on Inter Milan at the San Siro, in the first leg of the Champions League semi final.
Previous matchup

AC Milan’s form
Stefano Pioli’s side are currently sat fifth in Serie A. In their previous league game, they were victorious 2-0 against Lazio, after Theo Hernandez and Ismaël Bennacer made it onto the scoresheet.
AC Milan are now two points off making the top four with just four league games remaining. In the quarter-final of the Champions League, they faced league leaders of the Italian League, Napoli and beat them 2-1 over the two legs.
AC Milan are currently nine games unbeaten in all competitions.
Key players missing
Manchester City are currently without Nathan Ake, after he was forced off after picking up a hamstring injury against Leeds United. Real Madrid will be without Ferland Mendy on Tuesday night after he picked up a thigh injury in early April. The Spanish side will also be without Eder Militao. The Brazilian will be out due to a one game suspension for picking up a yellow card in their previous round of the Champions League against Chelsea.

AC Milan’s talisman this season has been the Portuguese man Rafael Leão.
The former Lille player has scored thirteen goals in all competitions and has managed to get ten assists.
Inter Milan’s top goalscorer this season has been Lautaro Martinez.
The Argentinian has managed to score a fantastic twenty-one goals in forty-two games. He has also managed to get eight assists.
